The loading capacity of the standard input cassette for papers is up to 250 sheets, which can include plain, thin, or recycled paper. When coming out of a sleep mode, the printer’s warm-up time is less than 7 seconds at a standard temperature of 23⁰C. Alternatively, when starting up from a powered-off state, the same device takes less than 25 seconds to warm up at the same temperature. Unfortunately, the manual paper slot can only accommodate one sheet of paper at a time.

The paper cassette produces a maximum of 100 sheets of printed paper, with a standard weight of 80 gsm, and is held in a face-down position. Meanwhile, a single sheet is presented in a face-up pattern through a straight paper path. The trays are also compatible with other media types such as thick paper, bond paper, and envelopes. For the standard input tray, the recommended weight range is between 60 and 105 gsm, while the manual feed slot entry can handle weights between 60 and 163 gsm.

The printer’s resolution adheres to the standard of 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) and has the capability to reach a maximum of 2400 x 600 dpi in HQ1200 high-quality mode.
