The Pocketjet printer boasts a NI-MH battery that can be charged through its port. In addition to this, it also offers an unconventional power option which involves connecting it to a DC power source via a cigarette car adapter or a direct wired cable to a 12 Volts DC supply in a vehicle. To utilize this option, a power cord will be required to be inserted into the PocketJet and the vehicle power turned on by users.
The printer boasts several primary switches that enhance its user-friendliness, requiring only a single push to operate. One of these switches is the power button, which easily toggles the device on or off. To activate the printer from an off state, simply press the main switch button once. Conversely, to power down the machine, press the button twice in quick succession.
Despite its compact size, the printer also includes a manual form feed, which can be accessed by holding down the main switch for 1 or 1.5 seconds. This feature adds to the printer’s versatility and ease of use.
This printer boasts three indicator lights: power, data, and error. Each light has a specific symbol, whether steady, blinking, or changing color. In addition, this device is compatible with Windows OS Vista, XP, and 2000 professional. Supported media types include cut sheet paper, non-perforated roll paper, and perforated roll paper.
