The fundamental functions of printing encompass copying, printing, network printing, network scanning, document filing, and faxing. The copy system employs dry electrostatic transfer, dual-component developer, and magnetic brush development techniques. Additionally, the system offers OPC drums, belt fusing, and a white LED exposure gradient as additional features. The maximum copy speed is approximately 35-40 pages per minute (ppm) for both monochrome and color modes. Furthermore, it has the capability to produce up to 9999 copies from a single document at maximum production.
When duplicating documents on the photocopier, the initial copy time is approximately 4.7 seconds for monochrome mode and 6.7 seconds for color mode. These rates apply when using the platen glass. However, if the DSPF is utilized, the times increase to 7.3 seconds for monochrome and 10.0 seconds for color.
Typically, the machine requires a warm-up time of 10 seconds or less before it is ready to use. It also allows for magnification adjustments ranging from 25% to 400% of the original document size, in 1% increments.
The scanning process boasts a rapid speed of up to 200 images per minute (ppm) for monochrome and 106 ipm for color. Additionally, the standard input tray can comfortably hold up to 650 sheets of paper, with a maximum capacity of 6300 sheets. Supported paper types include legal, letter, ledger, statement sizes for the standard trays, as well as other options. The paper drawers are designed to support a weight range between 18 lbs and 110 lbs for the cover, providing versatility in paper selection.
